For the most of us that grew up in the ’90s, Kobe Bryant, the 1998 NBA All-Star Game, the adidas Crazy 8s, his storied match up with Michael Jordan, all meant great memories. Last year, adidas decided to tap into that nostalgia driven market and revealed the adidas Crazy 8 comeback. The classic look and feel of the on-court shoes are now further enhanced, thanks to this adidas Consortium Crazy 8 A//D “Core Red” release.

The sneakers feature an upper, made out of multiple textiles, all adding depth and texture to the already unique silhouette. With white mesh being the most prominent color, the sneakers look both clean and intricate at the same time. Additionally, the porous mesh can be found sitting perfectly between the midsole tooling, while black suede grips the heel counter, perfectly balancing the color scheme with the grey suede wrapping the toe box. With the mid-construction getting a high rise collar, the performance-oriented wearer will see a stable shoe throughout.
