Report: Here’s How Much (Supposedly) The New Apple iPhone Will Cost

Published

There’s been much talk about the pricing for the upcoming Apple iPhone, but according to The New York Times, the iPhone 8 — which is rumored to arrive September 12 — will start at $999 USD. While some previous reports went far as $1,200 for the iPhone of the new generation, it seems the price point will be slightly lower and well, a bit more affordable for most users. The current, Apple iPhone 7, starts at $649 USD, while the iPhone 7 Plus starts at$769 USD. Naturally, the price goes up with the additional storage options and other items.

It is worth noting that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the smartphone. In turn, this will probably push Apple to pull all the stops for the new model, hopefully dazzling us with new features – unlike what they did with the last few models. Apple will host an event next month – seemingly to unveil the new iPhone – so we might get a detailed look at the new device sooner than later. Check out the detailed hands-on video of all the colors that (should be) available for the new iPhone right below.
